About the order process

You may shop on-line at our Web site 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Poetry By Design offices are open 5 days per week from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST. If you prefer to place your order by phone, mail or fax with a credit card, check or money order, please use our Off-line Order Form.

Once your order has been placed we will e-mail a draft copy of your poem to you. If paying by credit card or PayPal, you should receive this draft within approximately 7-10 business days from the date your order was placed. Draft poetry on orders paid for by personal check will be e-mailed after clearance of your personal check.

If you desire changes or revisions to the e-mailed draft poem, you must contact us within five business days of receipt of your draft poem. Revisions will be made and a second poetry draft will be e-mailed to you within five additional business days. ONLY ONE SET OF REVISIONS IS ALLOWED PER POETRY GIFT ORDERED.

After you have approved the final draft, we request that you e-mail us regarding your receipt and acceptance of revisions before we print your final poetry gift.

If you purchased an E-MAILED version of your poem, the order process is complete at this point.

If you purchased an READY TO FRAME version of your poem, we will promptly proceed with printing, and shipping your final poetry gift to you (or to the designated recipient).

Your poetry gift will be shipped to you or the designated recipient via United States Postal Service Priority Mail (see Shipping & Handling Policy) unless an alternate shipping method is specified when ordering. Shipment should be inspected for damage or errors immediately upon receipt.

If the merchandise is damaged in shipping, we will replace the item at no charge to you provided that we are contacted within 72 hours of receipt of the package. You may contact us at 1.888.MY.POETRY (1.888.697.6387) or by e-mail to make replacement arrangements.

If upon physical receipt of your poetry and despite having personally approved the final draft of your poem you notice a typographical error in the poem on our part, we will be happy to mail you a corrected replacement poem. You may contact us at 1.888.MY.POETRY (1.888.697.6387) or by e-mail to make replacement arrangements. We will then ship to you a corrected copy of the poem printed on the paper originally ordered.
