PICTURE PERFECT INTERIORS
Spring has arrived -
It's long overdue,
And so are those projects
You've put off to do.
You'd like a "fresh look"
And remodeling would do it,
But like so many folks,
You just didn't get to it.
So if your shutters need painting
'Cause the paint has now peeled,
Or that once loved wallpaper
Has lost its appeal,
Or the thought of a ladder
Makes you start to shudder
At the sight you might find
Inside of your gutter,
Don't wait until Spring
Turns quickly to Fall.
We do all this and more
When you just ask for Paul.

The Prince of Paint
Painting is a passion,
It's not a chore for me,
And if we didn't have to eat
I'd probably paint for free.
I went away to college,
And yes, got my degree,
And found out quite by accident
That painting sets me free.
My friends at first were puzzled.
My family seemed surprised.
But when Mom referred her clients
I knew I had arrived.
Now that's a bit about me.
I've been painting for some years.
My customers can vouch for me
And some may even cheer.
So whether it's a dresser
Whose color's now passe',
Or you need your walls updated
With the colors of today,
I'll be glad to come and see you
With an estimate that's free
And answer any questions
That you may have of me.
Although this is lighthearted,
When it comes to the work I do,
Perfection is my motto
And that's how I'll work for you.

Can you picture yourself
With fresh painted walls,
New tiled floors,
Wallpapered halls?
Can you picture not hearing
That dreadful old leak,
Those doors that won't close,
Those rattles and squeaks?
Can you picture relaxing
In your remodeled home,
Entertaining with friends,
Or relaxing alone?
If what we've described
Has caused you to think,
Don't wait 'til you tire
Of your old kitchen sink.
Just pick up the phone
And give us a call.

At times our words may not sound clear
And our gaits may not seem straight,
And it may take longer to understand
The points you try to make.
But deep inside we're like other kids -
Our needs are much the same.
For years the label's been "disabled"
But we want to be called by name.
You see a label can't account
For the dreams we hold inside
Of being involved and sharing life's joys
When the bias is laid aside.
We enjoy the things other kids enjoy
Like learning and playing games,
And when it comes to choosing sides,
We want to hear our names.
We only ask that you take the time
To really understand
The opportunities that are there for us
Through your gift and a helping hand.
Sometimes it may take patience
And lots of understanding;
At times you'll want to run and hide
For we can be demanding.
But we think your investment
Will pay off in the end
As we grow up to some day be
Great women and great men.
So if we seem to walk too slow
Or our responses are not swift,
Remember the difference you can make
With your patience and your gift.
Please don't make assumptions
Or limit us with a label.
Work with us to show the world
That as humans we are able . . .
To be the same as other kids
And do the things they do.
Open the doors and open your minds
And we'll open our hearts to you.
